- Remove all jewelry before taking a shower, going to bed, swimming or working out
- Apply all lotion, hairspray, perfume, etc. prior to putting on your jewelry
- Jewelry should be the last item you put on before heading out and the first you remove upon return
Materials Defined
- Gold Plated - 14 or 18 karat gold plating over jeweler's brass, stainless steel or sterling silver. we work with a minimum of .5 microns
- PVD - (Physical Vapor Deposition) a vacuum coating process used over stainless steel to provide a long-lasting finish.
- Brazilian Gold Filled - a layer of 18 karat gold bonded onto jeweler's brass, a minimum of 3% of the total weight of the item is gold.
- US Gold Filled - a solid layer of 14 karat gold bonded onto jeweler's brass, a minimum of 5% of the total weight of the item is gold. manufactured in the USA and regulated by the FTC.
- Sterling Silver - .925 silver with a rhodium plating for shine and protection
- Gold Vermeil - 14 or 18 karat gold plating over sterling silver, minimum of 2.5 microns
- 14kt or 18kt - 14 or 18 karat solid gold
- CZ - cubic zirconia, a synthetic diamond or colored stone
- Freshwater Pearl - A freshwater, cultured pearl is formed in lakes or ponds vs the saltwater of the ocean.
