Materials Defined

Gold Plated - 14 or 18 karat gold plating over jeweler's brass, stainless steel or sterling silver. we work with a minimum of .5 microns
PVD - (Physical Vapor Deposition) a vacuum coating process used over stainless steel to provide a long-lasting finish.
Brazilian Gold Filled - a layer of 18 karat gold bonded onto jeweler's brass, a minimum of 3% of the total weight of the item is gold.
US Gold Filled - a solid layer of 14 karat gold bonded onto jeweler's brass, a minimum of 5% of the total weight of the item is gold. manufactured in the USA and regulated by the FTC.
Sterling Silver - .925 silver with a rhodium plating for shine and protection
Gold Vermeil - 14 or 18 karat gold plating over sterling silver, minimum of 2.5 microns
